Terms of Use

These terms govern access to and use of this website. Viewing content or submitting a search means that you accept them. If you disagree with any condition, stop using the site.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website has no government affiliation. It and its advertising partners do not provide services for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other Fair Credit Reporting Act decisions. Its purpose is to help readers locate Grayson County, Kentucky criminal-record sources. It is neither a private-investigation firm nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This private reference site operates independently of government. It does not store official records, conduct official checks, retrieve files, or submit documents on a reader's behalf.

It identifies sources such as the Grayson County Sheriff's Office, Circuit Court Clerk, Kentucky State Police Criminal Records Branch, and Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry, and may connect readers with third-party research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use of the site is conditioned on an agreement not to:

  • Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
  • Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
  • Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
  • Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
  • Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
  • Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No one may use site content or a linked tool to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate. Kentucky registry data exists for public-safety awareness, not private punishment. Misuse against a listed person or household may violate KRS 525.070 or KRS 525.080 and can lead to criminal penalties.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and creates no credit report, background check, or consumer report. Its advertising partners are not presented as services for applicant, tenant, insurance, or credit decisions. Data from this site or a linked tool must not be used to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A person who needs a check for a regulated purpose must use a properly authorized official channel or an FCRA-compliant provider.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is general information, not legal advice. Only a licensed Kentucky attorney can advise how a charge, conviction, warrant, or expungement rule applies to a specific matter.

6. No Warranties

All services and content are provided "as is." There is no guarantee that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Charges, dismissals, corrections, and expungements can change a record. Updates may lag, and no site statement should be treated as an official statement by a Kentucky court or agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links can lead to public offices, Kentucky court portals, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Those destinations are independently controlled. This site is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, fees, or availability, so users should review the destination's terms.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Grayson County Criminal History or its content partners. Copying, modifying, distributing, or creating derivative works requires prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site is not liable for damages arising from its use, including reliance on information obtained here or through a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold the site harmless from claims caused by your use or your breach of these terms, including related legal fees and costs.

11. Governing Law

Kentucky law governs these terms, including applicable protections in KRS Chapter 367. The Kentucky Open Records Act, KRS 61.870 through 61.884, applies to public-agency records and does not turn this private site into a government custodian. Any dispute tied to use of the site must be filed in a court located in Kentucky.

The terms may be revised. A posted revision takes effect when it appears on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be limited or terminated at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.
